Refund and Returns Policy

At Little Treehugger, we take pride in the quality of our products. Because we operate without customer accounts to make your checkout experience as fast as possible, our return and repair process is handled personally by our team.

Please read the guidelines below to understand how we process returns, repairs, and refunds.

1. General Returns (Change of Mind)

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging.
  • Return Shipping: For "change of mind" returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable courier service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

2. Damaged Goods & Free Repair Service

We stand by the craftsmanship of our products. If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault due to a manufacturing defect, we offer a Free Repair Service.

  • What is covered: Defects in materials or workmanship, and items damaged during initial transit to you.
  • What is not covered: Normal wear and tear, accidental damage caused by the user, or misuse of the product.
  • Shipping for Repairs: If the item is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect or was damaged upon arrival, we will cover the courier costs to return the item to us for repair and ship it back to you.

3. How to Request a Return or Repair

Because we do not use customer dashboards, all requests are handled directly by our support team. To initiate a return or repair:

  1. Email us at littletreehugger.za@icloud.com within the eligible timeframe.
  2. Include your Order Number and the name used at checkout.
  3. Briefly describe the issue. If the item is damaged or defective, you must attach clear photographs of the problem.
  4. Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days and reply with the next steps, including the return shipping address and authorisation.

4. Processing Refunds

If a refund is approved (rather than a repair or exchange), it will be processed back to your original payment method.

  • Because we use Peach Payments for our secure checkout, refunds are credited back to the card or account you used to make the purchase.
  • Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing times. We will send you an email confirmation once the refund has been processed on our end.
